Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Monday 17th August 2015.
Halsted called, asked for me, recording stated they were trying to collect a debt, press XXXX to speak with someone. I then spoke with " XXXX '' and he asked to confirm my name, I did, then he asked for the last XXXX of my SSN, at which point I stopped him and told him that before we go any further I wanted the full name of the company and their mailing address as required by law. He said he did not have to provide me anything unless I gave hime my last XXXX of the SSN. Again I asked him to comply with the law and give me their mailing address and told him not to call my phone number anymore. He said he did n't have to do anything and hung up. I do n't owe anything, I wanted to send them a cease communication letter. I also believe they spoofed their calling in number.
