Equifax Complaint: Incorrect information on credit report

Complaint #1519271 submitted on 08/14/2015 relating to Equifax. Complaint relates to Credit reporting - Incorrect information on credit report Reinserted previously deleted info.

Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Friday 14th August 2015.

Narrative (may be redacted).

On XXXX/XXXX/2015, I spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX Collection Supervisor ) of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was told by him if I were to pay two collection items, XXXX in the amt of {$250.00} each, he would email me a letter of deletion to submit to all 3 bureaus. XXXX told me to send the letter over and the items would be deleted from my credit report. As advised I sent the letters provided to the 3 bureaus, and on XXXX/XXXX/15 I contacted Equifax to find out the status of the deletion. The representative from Equifax advised me that they contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and they told them to update my report showing on of the XXXX items has a {$0.00} balance and update the other one as having a balance of {$200.00}. When I researched my receipt from XXXX, they XXXX show I paid two payments of {$250.00} which left a {$0.00} balance on the accts paid to XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I explained to the rep at Equifax that the item for {$200.00} to the same company XXXX XXXX XXXX, its a totally different account number, she stated that the rep at XXXX told her it was owed on the acct I previously paid. I then went back to my Equifax Reinvestigation Results dated XXXX/XXXX/2015, and it showed the item in the amount of {$200.00} for XXXX XXXX XXXX was deleted from my account in that investigation. It seems XXXX XXXX XXXX has placed and item that was deleted from my report to an item that I have already paid and have proof it has a {$0.00} balance. On top of this fraudulent activity that has be readded to my credit report under a paid items acct number, XXXX XXXX at XXXX did n't uphold the terms of our agreement, which was to give a full delete of XXXX items paid. I would like this investigated and all XXXX of the items deleted from my bureau as agreed upon by the reporting company XXXX XXXX XXXX Supervisor XXXX XXXX. I have attatched the email receipt from XXXX XXXX XXXX showing the acct was paid in full, my Equifax Reinvestigation Report, showing the item for {$200.00} with a totally different acct number was deleted, My most current credit report showing the {$200.00} was placed under an acct that has already been paid, My XXXX bankstatment showing I paid {$510.00} ( which is {$250.00} XXXX ) to XXXX in XXXX, and also the deletion letter XXXX XXXX provided to me by email after paying the items.
