Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Thursday 13th August 2015.
I was in default on a loan XXXX. XXXX Bank sold my loan XXXX, based in XXXX XXXX, CA in 2011. I have continually asked XXXX to provide me with statement indicating my balance and the interest rate that I 'm paying. They do not provide me with anything. I have tried to contact them via the link on their website so that I might have something in writing indicating that I have made this request many times. The link does n't work. I have called and asked for a statement and settlement amount and my " representative '' told me I was rude for asking, he would not give me a settlement amount, and hung up on me. I called again and asked for a direct email address to his supervisor as well as his supervisor 's name. He hung up on me. The balance on this loan does not appear to be decreasing. I have first tried to file a complaint with the XXXX in order to get the simple paper statement and settlement amount I have asked for. XXXX has a D- or F rating with the XXXX and they will not accredit the company. I am at a complete loss as to what I can do. I would like to settle this balance as soon as possible so I can start to work towards improving my credit rating which dropped so precariously several years ago when the economy turned. I can not settle this balance and be done with this collection agency if they wo n't respond to my requests and continue to hang up on me.
