My mortgage for refinancing of my home was conducted without involving an Attorney. If a real estate attorney had been used the bank would have discovered that there was an existing mortgage on the same property. As a result of not obtaining an attorney the loan was not paid off. The first mortgage holder is in the process of filing a fore closure. I have attempted to do everything possible to prevent this from happening.
