My private student lender sends me a bill with a due date. The bill due date is also on my on-line account, where I pay my bill. I have paid by the due date with on-line payment, and the money has left my bank account, however it is not credited until a week later. I have been reported as late on my credit report, even though I paid the bill by the due date.
