Debt collection Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.)

Complaint #1511405 submitted on 08/10/2015 relating to Eastern Account Systems of Connecticut, Inc.. Complaint relates to Debt collection Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.) - Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine.

Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Monday 10th August 2015.

Narrative (may be redacted).

On XX/XX/XXXX, I pulled a recent credit report to review my credit because I 'm in the process of establishing a business and I need to apply for a line of credit. I noticed there was a Collection entry by Eastern Account System that totally alarmed me. I was never notified that is account when it was added to my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX. My rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act were violated because I would have disputed first this. I recently sent a dispute to all XXXX credit reporting agencies and of course it came back verified. How could this be? I 've been working extremely hard to maintain my credit report, and I would have addressed this immediately. And not to mention that I still have XXXX services and I have had services for years. Eastern Account Systems derogatory marks on my credit reports are preventing me from establishing a business line of credit and becoming a business owner. I had no knowledge of this account until recently and it ' does belong me.
