Narrative (may be redacted).

I have debts that were charged off many years ago. The statute of limitations for collection has long expired. Now, P & L Acquisitions has been harassing me for a year. Several phone calls per week telling me I must respond or I will end up in court. I have spoken directly with a human and told them I know the law and they must tell me the exact creditor, the exact amount they are trying to collect, and I receive absolutely NO factual information. I receive a letter at least once every two weeks. I finally sent a Cease and Desist demand letter to their " FAKE '' business address. After 15 days of never being an open business location, the post office was forced to return my letter as undeliverable. I demand that this scamming, illegal, fake, collection practice be STOPPED!!! Yesterdays phone call, from a female, was the worst. The woman declared she was a processor for the County ( what county? ) and that they will send my name to the Sheriff in 48 hours, for a service summons. THAT 'S IT! I 'm done tolerating this illegal abuse! P & L Acquisitions is all over the internet as a scam and moves from state to state. The supposed signature on their threat letters is also the signature of someone who has been deceased for several years now. SHUT THEM DOWN!
