i acquired the debt in a divorce and filed bankruptcy chapter XXXX.the debt is from 2009 and in the state of Louisiana statue of limitations is XXXX years which makes this a time-barred debt.bureaus investment group, llc.XXXX no XXXX did n't send in a claim to the u.s. bankruptcy courts and has filed a suite against my ex.i have read up on certain laws and found that they have violated the fdcpa by attempting to sue for a time-barred debt as well as not complying to the Louisiana statue of limitations and have put them selves in contempt of court as pursuant to the u.s. bankruptcy automatic stay.
