Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Friday 11th September 2015.
I received a collection document from XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding a deliquent debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I currently hold good standing accounts with XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX has confirmed with their debt recovery unit that I have no delinquent debt. The account which is listed on the document has been confirmed with XXXX XXXX XXXX as not being any that I 've ever held with them.
I 've requested proof of the original debt from the personnel at XXXX XXXX XXXX and was told it would take 30 - 45 days. I 've been threatened with action being taken in 2 weeks. The current owner of the debt is Pyramid Aquisitions. According to the information I 've received from XXXX, the account is as old as 2006.
This sounds fraudulent or like a phishing scam. Please investigate and let me know what action I can take.
