Credit card

Complaint #1491291 submitted on 07/28/2015 relating to Citibank. Complaint relates to Credit card - Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement .

Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Wednesday 29th July 2015.

Narrative (may be redacted).

In XXXX/XXXX/XXXX a Sears account was reported on my XXXX and XXXX credit report.
I do not have or ever have had a Sears credit card. I noticed the account was opened XXXX and closed in XXXX. I looked on my XXXX credit report from XXXX/XXXX/XXXX on all accounts listed open and closed and Sears was not on there .Also XXXX XXXX/XXXX/XXXX Sears was not reported. If this Sears account was closed in XXXX why is n't it reported in the XXXX XXXX and XXXX reports? from XXXX for XXXX.
I also noticed the reports do not indicate who closed it in XXXX. In XXXX I was living with XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX in XXXX, CA. Sometimes he would come with me to pay my XXXX at Sears. In XXXX I unfortunately was in a short term marriage on the XXXX to XXXX XXXX. I do n't know if they had anthing to do with this, but I did call FTC to report it as possible identity theft regardless of who opened the Sears account and who closed it in XXXX.
My XXXX report had my last name XXXX : XXXX XXXX. I also noticed that the High balance : {$99.00}, and a credit limit of {$2200.00}. The {$99.00} High balance is a very unusual odd high balance. I noticed on my XXXX account, on all XXXX of my current credit bureau reports that XXXX has " XXXX '' months reviewed, and so does XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, Citibank. Is there a connection? The only connection I can think of is that I always paid my XXXX XXXX at Sears in person.
Please help me to find out who opened and closed this Sears account. Because there was some identity theft involved.
