I have a credit card with continental finance which was opened XX/XX/XXXX. The account has maintained a good payment history since. At the time it was opened it was reported to all XXXX credit bureaus. however, there were duplicate accounts on all three. I had only XXXX credit card, but XXXX accounts were showing. I accurately, disputed the XXXX duplicates and left the XXXX accurate account out the dispute in XXXX subsequently, all my accounts were removed. I recently have written the customer service dept and faxed a formal dispute dated XX/XX/XXXX after my initial faxed letter, dated XXXX XXXX, was evidently faxed to a wrong number provided to me by customer service. the latter letter ( XX/XX/XXXX ) have been verified by a supervisor I been corresponding with via many emails over the past XXXX months by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX, supervisor as being received. he also has been adamantly conveying, again in writing ( emails ) that this my account would be reinserted. I have patiently waited since XX/XX/XXXX to no avail. this three year old good standing account is still not reporting after I disputed it in XX/XX/XXXX. AT THIS POINT, CONTINENTAL FINANCE HAS VIOLATED MY RIGHTS UNDER THE FCRA BY NOT RESPONDING TO MY DISPUTE IN 30 DAYS. To date, as recent as a few days ago, XXXX XXXX jones is still assuring its being handled. He emailed me exactly what to put in the letter, stating to add " I am asking that continental finance reinstates this tradeline to my credit report '', which I have complied and have documentation. however, I am not receiving credit on my bureaus for this three year old account which is positive. I feel like im getting nowhere. I spend ample amount of time calling and corresponding with XXXX XXXX. Each time, he assures me its gon na be reinserted, but have not.
