On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I had used my Chase Visa Rewards Card to stay at the XXXX. I had also used my XXXX Card for the second week. To my surprise during the second week when I was sleeping I felt something crawl across my arm and I quickly jumped up and screamed, my daughter turned on the lights and it was a bedbug crawling on the bed. We caught the bedbug and took it in a jar we found to the front desk. They said they would move the room and have the manager call us ASAP. After moving all of our stuff in clear bags of course to the elevator and XXXX floors up with no help I contacted the customer service dept at Chase Visa and the XXXX XXXX .Well the staff at that time sounded sympathetic about the problem and told me that they would be following up with this in the next couple of days. The c/s at the XXXX XXXX removed the charges and gave me credit for my bill, However the Chase card services gave me such a hard time even after knowing that we had to throw away our belongings and repurchase the things that had been infested and appeared to have bedbug eggs. We were at the hotel because we had just moved from our home and the new place we were moving to had been delayed due to a fire that had happened. It was obvious we were homeless. There was absolutely no c/s support after the report was made we had got the building inspector and health dept and the hotel had been previously cited for bugs and they cited the place again.

The Chase card services did not reverse the charges and I had to pay the full amount. This included finance charges from XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. So now on XX/XX/XXXX I receive the attached letter and I called the phone number they wrote on the letter to speak to the c/s because I understood that the amount in dispute was resolved as they have stated in the letter. I called on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. I spoke to a Chase card specialist named XXXX who told me that the XXXX cent credit that I see on the account is what I was entitled to. He also said that there were a lot of other people that had this refund coming to them. I told him that I was charged a lot more than XXXX cents finance and I asked him what do they mean by saying the dispute was resolved I paid it in full, he did not answer me but continued to talk over me rudely blabbing on and on. I felt it was necessary to terminate the call due to the fact that he was completely giving me the run around. I felt at that time to contact your agency for help.
