We are inquiring about treatment received from XXXX XXXX XXXX on or about XXXX XXXX, 2011. XXXX sent an unpaid bill to a collection agency, Health Services Asset Management for collection, despite us having verification issues with the debt.
Health Services Asset Management is telling us they no longer have the itemized statement from the creditor, and can not prove the details of the debt. They can only prove this debt is owed because a dollar amount was turned over by the original creditor.
We need proof of this debt. We had XXXX insurance companies, so there should not be as large of a balance, especially since the doctor providing service was an in network doctor on both plans, and our deductible had been met. We can not validate this bill based on the information Health Services Asset Management is giving us.
They have placed this item on our credit reports, and we stand to lose over {$7500.00} in earnest money on a house because of it.
