When I originally submitted a application for a credit card at Chase Bank a few years ago, they gave me a range of interest rates that I could potentially qualify for. Then when they started my account, they gave me a rate well above the minimum. After several years of on time payments, I have requested a reduction in my rate. Now they are saying that my program never had a lower rate, and that I got the lowest rate available. I believe they are being dishonest.
