I got a secured card through Bank of Oklahoma, who does their credit cards through lan. I 've had it for almost a year and they charged me an annual {$35.00} fee for the first year, I asked to have the card switched over to a card with no annual fee because I always pay my bill in advance and never keep a balance. They would n't give change it without another annual fee so I asked that the account be closed. After I faxed them the letter they requested to close it I received a letter from them stating I would not receive my {$300.00} deposit until the review period which lasted until XXXX XXXX ( over a month after I sent them the letter XXXX. I never have carried a balance with them and always make my payment way in advance. I do not owe them anything on the card and they still refuse to give me my money back until the " review period '' is over. I have called XXXX times in the past week or XXXX trying to get my money back and I have been told multiple dates by different employees as to when my money will be returned.
