Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Wednesday 26th August 2015.
I paid AIM Corp in XXXX, and disputed its status with the credit reporting bureaus, as it was paid in full and showing on my credit report. AIM Corp reported to the bureau that the information needed to stand as it was showing, and that I would need to contact them ( AIM ) directly. I called them on Wednesday, XXXX XXXX, and was told that even though my account was paid in full and closed, they would not report that to the credit bureau until THEY were ready to.
My complaint, therefore, is that AIM Corp disclosed false information to the credit bureaus, claiming that I still owed a debt that I did not owe, and admitted as much to me, causing me financial damage, as I am in the process of obtaining financing for a home loan.
