I am exempt under the federal laws protecting XXXX veterans. This company had a change to collect the fees for the hospital bills via my VA XXXX Veterans Administration XXXX health insurance and it did not provide enough information to the VA in a timely manner and now they are trying to collect from me and ruining my personal credit, even though I am exempt from their levy 's and liens and process thereof. I sent them the Federal laws, Title 38 Part IV chapter 53 section 5301a, b, c, d and they still continue to harass me by not stopping the collection procedures. They know that they can never collect this debt, but they said that they would continue to report and collect until someday I pay, they say it is a debt my kids will have to pay. I gave the hospital personnel all the information I had on me at the time and the information I had access to at the time. They seem to think I can call the VA and make them pay. I can not do that and I told them many times. I think this is a third-party debt from one of the doctors and he did not collect from the VA properly.
