I am writing in regards to the hacking that occurred at Scottrade XXXX XXXX, Scottrade, XXXX and Scottrade Bank.
Specifically, I seek clarification on whether my passwords were encrypted or hashed.
Scottrade 's press release here : XXXX, states that the passwords were encrypted and NOT hashed.
If Scottrade did not hash passwords, I would like to know why, and I would like to know if the encrypted key has been or could have been targeted in the hack.
